Jaemin Lee

I am an evolutionary ecologist,
who is fascinated by how terrestrial ecosystems have evolved
across time and space.
My fundamental questions include how plants, animals (largely insects), and their ecological interactions respond to evolutionary and environmental changes, and how changing biota, geography, and climate shape their dispersal and biogeography across time and space.

I am also an avid naturalist and
I enjoy documenting nature
through photography.

RESEARCH

My research focuses on the evolution of terrestrial organisms and ecosystems. I primarily study fossils of plants, insects, and their interactions in Deep Time.
